MALIN was born 1981, surrounded by magic props and next door neighbour to a little theatre in the south of Sweden. To be precise: Skillinge Theatre at Österlen. Since then it has just been one way to go… MALIN has worked as a professional magician since 2000.

If you think magic is just silly children’s entertainment, you have to think again…
MALIN is one of Sweden’s foremost magical entertainers and has specialized in shows for adults. She is known for her variety inspired style and her cool way of performing classical magic tricks. With impressive slight of hand and spontaneous humour MALIN has the entire continent of Europe as her duck pond.

Malin has performed at the world famous cabaret stage Chat Noir in Oslo, in Spain, Portugal, and Germany. She has been a guest at the Royal Theatre of Drama in Stockholm and given almost 70 shows at the Magic Castle in Hollywood.

MALIN is mostly known for here one-of-a-kind full evening shows, but entertains almost everywhere where her magic is needed!
With the Theatre of Skillinge as her base MALIN produces full evening magic shows during the summer seasons, shows that tours during the rest of the year. ‘Magic:Unplugged’, ‘The Monkey Opera’ and ‘POP’ are a few of them.

MALIN also performs with her solo show at private functions and cooperate events. She also performs in, or hosts, varieties, galas and TV shows. More infrequent assignments have included magic consultations for theatres, such as Theatre 23 and the Malmoe Theatre of Drama.

MALIN is, together with actor Jörgen Thorsson, the cult-acclaimed magic noir duo ‘The Monkey Opera’. Or as they are called abroad: The Swedish Monkey Opera! Since 2010 they have played in Hollywood, New York and south of Sweden.

…together with The Monkey Opera won third prize in the World Championship of Street Magic.

...won the Swedish Championships and the Scandinavian Championships in Magic, both as the first woman ever.

...been a magic consultant for the Malmoe Theatre of Drama and Theatre 23.

...given almost 70 shows at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, the Academy of Magical Arts own theatre.

…given 93 shows at the Crystal Palace in Leipzig, Germany.

…been, and is, artistic consultant for the yearly occurring magic festival “Simsalabim” at Stadra Theatre (one of Sweden’s most beautiful theatres!).

...been awarded with the Sandrew Culture scholarship (2008), the TRUXA award (2007), the Malmö Theatre Museum’s theatre award (2007), The Ystads Allehanda Cultur Award (2005) and the Skillinge Theatre’s Theatre Award (2004).

...a club, together with producer Tin Josefsdotter, specialized in magic entertainment.
